Please note: In some cases this HDD may be a replacement on machines having been updated to SATA type HDD using conversion kit. Note:Conversion kit cannot be provided by Hytec. As a particular drive becomes obsolete and is no longer available its replacement part may be used to complete your order. All Canon Hard Drive replacements are blank and will require formatting and software installation on-site. Please be sure to have a level of software including any patches sufficient for the new drive with you at time of replacement. When selecting a replacement Hard Drive for a Canon model machine please be aware that some machines may have had the original PATA type HDD replaced with a New SATA type interface. It may be necessary to inspect the machine for this possibility before placing your order. Hytec offers secure destruction and sanitization services for hard drives.
